About New Life Mash GharWe are a multi-cultural group of people who follow Jesus. We come from many different countries and religious backgrounds, but we are united in our common faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour. We worship primarily in English, but we also celebrate aspects of South Asian language and culture in our services and fellowship.
We are a church in the International Presbyterian Church (IPC). We believe the bible teaches that the Church is to be governed by Elders (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1:5-9). The elders are to care for and lead the church, they seek to do that by devoting themselves to God's Word, Prayer and Shepherding the Church Family. Our church is part of the International Presbyterian Church and so our elders are accountable to and supported by the British Presbytery. More information can be found here about our Presbytery. New Life Masih Ghar's Elders are: Pastor Sunny Jaj Pastor Robert Heppe Pastor John Schutter Scripture also establishes the office of Deacon. The word Deacon means to be a servant. Deacons work alongside elders and help care for the practical needs of the church family and the community around us. |
